Flowers, pearl beads & 'made with love' charm from crafty stash

This is the first time I have had chance to use my beautiful LOTV stamps and I am totally hooked, they are gorgeous and I am definitely going back for more.
This card has been made for my special little girls 6th Birthday!  I am so happy with how it turned out with all the dimensions and textures.

Well it has been a crazy week here, what with having to look after hubby following an operation, my birthday, little one's birthday, our 7th Wedding Anniversary and having to run the business all on my own! I am worn out lol! Hopefully starting to get on top of things to add a little crafting in.  I am getting withdrawal symptoms already =]

Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunny weather today

Love Em x

Papertake Weekly challenge

Hi & Welcome to my blog!

A huge hello! to some new followers x

Today's card is for the Papertake Weekly challenge which to my delight is a sketch.

Yippee!!! I do love sketch challenges so much.
I found this challenge blog last night and instantly had an idea of what to do.  I have had some papers that have been in my crafty stash for quite a few years (I am sorry to say) and I have finally got around to using them.  What started to be quite a simple idea, as I have the little one home on half term turned out to be a labour of love.  It just kept needing the extra layers and they proved to be quite tricky to cut out!

Apologies for the photo ~ the colours haven't quite come out right it's so dark and grey today it was actually quite hard to get good light.

Green background paper ~ Bazzill Spring breeze
Decoupage and co-ordinating papers ~ are from a card making kit I purchased from my craft club rucraft
Ribbon ~ Celebrate ribbon by the spool and gems from my own crafty stash

Layering is so worth the time gives a great dimension to the card.

The detail in these fairies are great ~ it's a shame you can't see the sparkle in the photo's.  The papers and decoupage are covered in glitter and so am I now!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  Hope to see you all very soon with another challenge

Love Em x
