Sorry I haven't had much time to blog.  Trying to juggle working from home and the little one off school is proving to be quite a task, and to fit crafting in on top is near enough impossible.
Loving the hols though it's so lovely to have my special girl home.

I will be back next week with a thank you card and then I'm afraid yes Christmas will be starting.  I have loads of crafty ideas for Christmas just buzzing around my head, but unfortunately not much time to do them yet.  The little one loves to craft but unfortunately like most things it lasts about 5 minutes then she is on to the next thing lol!

Hope your are all having a lovely Summer Holidays and see you again next week

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Hi everyone and Welcome to my blog!

Today's post is for WOYWW, which is great fun and I highly recommend that if you don't already join in then do so! (I've always been nosey lol!)

Looking a little tidier than last time ~ yes I have managed to have that sort out, still full to the brim but at least things are in their place.

I have managed to finish work early today so I now have the full afternoon to play!! Yippee! The housework will of course have to wait.

Onto the next project (which hopefully I'll be ready to share tomorrow)
I'm just trying to decide which one of my lovely LOTV stamps to use, I really can't get enough of them at the moment.  Looking forward to the new girlie stamps being released on the 14th.
The Fancy Pants papers were free from an issue of Simply cards & papercrafts ~ gorgeous aren't they.

You can just see in the pic my Papermania bag that I really wouldn't be without, and my new Cath Kidston note book my Sis got me for my birthday.

Check out my wonderful new promarkers storage, beautifully hand crafted by the lovely Rod

On the hole starting to look a lot more tidy and organised ~ well as much as it can!

Thank you for popping by my blog, I will of course be having a good nosey around your work desks and where I can leave comments (yep! you got it still having problem with Mr Blogger!)

Papertake Weekly challenge

Hi & Welcome to my blog!

A huge hello! to some new followers x

Today's card is for the Papertake Weekly challenge which to my delight is a sketch.

Yippee!!! I do love sketch challenges so much.
I found this challenge blog last night and instantly had an idea of what to do.  I have had some papers that have been in my crafty stash for quite a few years (I am sorry to say) and I have finally got around to using them.  What started to be quite a simple idea, as I have the little one home on half term turned out to be a labour of love.  It just kept needing the extra layers and they proved to be quite tricky to cut out!

Apologies for the photo ~ the colours haven't quite come out right it's so dark and grey today it was actually quite hard to get good light.

Green background paper ~ Bazzill Spring breeze
Decoupage and co-ordinating papers ~ are from a card making kit I purchased from my craft club rucraft
Ribbon ~ Celebrate ribbon by the spool and gems from my own crafty stash

Layering is so worth the time gives a great dimension to the card.

The detail in these fairies are great ~ it's a shame you can't see the sparkle in the photo's.  The papers and decoupage are covered in glitter and so am I now!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  Hope to see you all very soon with another challenge
