Isn't it amazing how something so simple can really make your day.  Still keep smiling about it now =D

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments recently. I am able to leave comments on some blogs but unfortunately not all.  Hopefully this will sort itself out in good time.

Well we are flat out here again with work and keeping the little lady occupied (half term) so I will love you and leave you until next time.

Clean & Simple, but not so easy!

Hi and Welcome to my blog x

Today's card is for the following challenges:
The Secret Crafter ~ Clean and Simple
Penny Black Saturday Challenge ~ One for the Girls
Papertake Weekly ~ Pale, Pretty Pastels

Materials Used:
Stamps ~ Penny Black 'in the garden'
Images coloured with Pro markers
Border punch by Woodware
Lilac card and ribbon from crafty stash.

I'm not so good with the clean and simple, I keep looking at the card thinking it needs something else.  You think when you go to make this sort of card 'oh! this will be easy' but actually this is the hardest theme for me to follow.
Hopefully you like it =D

Wishing you all a lovely lazy Bank holiday weekend

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Hi and Welcome to my blog

Today I thought I would take part in WOYWW for the first time, I have been over there and had a good nose around people's work desks for some time now and thought it only fair that I should share as well.

It is in a huge mess at the moment!

I use this space for work as well as crafting, and at the moment they are both competing with each other for space.  I have my big diary out with my to-do lists at the ready, a pile of photo frames that I have taken down and still haven't decided where to put them.  There is paperwork to file, magazine to read, old card makes, little one's easter crafty kits and even new crafty buys that have stacked up.  The remnants of birthday pressies and cards that still need to find their home ~ This desk really has become a dumping ground!!!

Just to show and prove there was once some organisation in this room!

My jobs today ~ once I have finished working of course is to start organising this space again (it is driving me mad).  So hopefully I will have a big reveal on next weeks WOYWW (or maybe before!).

To show I mean business I got some new storage drawers (not the best colour ~ a bit bright, but they are going under the desk) ~ so let the sorting begin!!!!

Thank you for popping by.

Love Em x

Edited at 6.30pm to add:  I am having loads of problems with Mr Blogger at the moment, so please bear with me as I am visiting your inspirational workdesks and blogs, but unfortunatley can't comment at the moment.  I will keep trying and leave comments when I can xx

Christmas Cards Already???? I hear you say

Hi everyone and Welcome to my blog

Today's card is for the following challenges:

Materials Used:
Background Papers ~ Bazzill pearlised blue, snowflake papers ~ Forever Friends
Stamp ~ Penny Black Mimi's Christmas
Stickles ~ Star Dust
Pro markers to colour stamped image
EK Success snowflake punch
Gems, lace and Chipboard swirl from crafty stash.

What I nightmare I have had listing this post.  Mr Blogger didn't seem to be working on the crafty room desk top for some unknown reason, so I have had to hijack Hubby's laptop, of which I am not used to using.

I know it is a Christmas card, I am sorry lol! I did say I would start sooner this year!!

Hopefully back tomorrow to join in WOYWW for the first time, although the crafty room is a bit of a state at the moment.  Just got some new storage today to try and sort everything out.

Love Em x

This is the first time I have had chance to use my beautiful LOTV stamps and I am totally hooked, they are gorgeous and I am definitely going back for more.
This card has been made for my special little girls 6th Birthday!  I am so happy with how it turned out with all the dimensions and textures.

Well it has been a crazy week here, what with having to look after hubby following an operation, my birthday, little one's birthday, our 7th Wedding Anniversary and having to run the business all on my own! I am worn out lol! Hopefully starting to get on top of things to add a little crafting in.  I am getting withdrawal symptoms already =]

Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunny weather today

Love Em x
